The air-filled tires help soften bumpy ground. The front wheel swivels for turns and locks for running, so you can change it to suit the trip. The handle adjusts too. When your partner takes over, they can set it for their own stride.

For walks from birth, you'll need the Thule bassinet or an infant car seat with an adapter. Those parts are separate. Plan that bit along with the stroller if you want to use it when your baby first comes home.

Every infant car seat that fits uses an adapter. There are lots of seats to choose from, but the adapter still has to match yours. Check that pair before you're standing by the car with a baby and a frame.

You can use this for walks as well as runs. The seat reclines, so you can change the angle when your child gets sleepy. Some days the plan is exercise. Some days it's getting a tired child around the block.

The basket holds 15 lb. That's a place for the baby bag instead of carrying it on your shoulder. A stop at the park still means snacks, wipes and the spare clothes you hope won't be needed.

At 26.2 lb, it's still a real lift into the trunk. The folded shape sits low, but its length needs space too. Picture it with your usual bags, especially if you'll drive to the path most days. The run ends before the loading does.
