How the car seat checker works
Pick your infant car seat from the list. It holds 147 seats, taken from the brand fit charts for 23 of the 24 strollers on our list. You'll see two groups. "No adapter needed" means the seat clicks right onto the stroller. "Adapter needed" means you'll buy an extra part, and the result names it.
Each result links the fit chart we used, so you can check the exact model name before you buy.
Before you buy
- Pick the car seat that fits your car first. Then look for strollers that take it.
- Match the full model name, not just the brand. The fit charts list seats by model.
- If your pair needs an adapter, buy it with the stroller. Then it's ready for the drive home from the hospital.
- Register the car seat. Car seat recalls come from NHTSA, and registering is how you hear about one.
