What does the site collect?
Your finder answers stay in the page address, after the # sign. PostHog gets the page address only up to that sign, so the answers themselves stay in your link. Amazon links, when they exist, go to Amazon, which has its own privacy policy. Product photos come from Amazon's servers, so Amazon can see your IP address when a photo loads. Brand links go to the brand.
What does the contact form collect?
If you send us a message, we get your name, your email, the topic you picked and your message. We use them only to read your note and write back to you. Your note reaches our inbox through an email service called Resend.
What do we count?
We use a tool called PostHog to count a few things. It shows us which pages help parents and which need work.
- Page views: which page you opened, and the site that sent you here.
- Taps on a "Check price on Amazon" button, and which stroller it was for.
- When you finish the stroller finder: the stroller type, the picks it shows you, how many questions you skipped, and whether any stroller fit every answer.
- When you use one of our tools, like the car seat checker, the trunk fit checker or the compare page.
- The words you type into site search, and how many results came up.
PostHog also records your IP address and basic facts about your device and browser. That lets us see your rough location and what kind of device you use. PostHog keeps a random ID in your browser so it can tell when the same browser comes back. The counts go to our own web address first, then on to PostHog. We don't sell or share this data, and we don't use it for targeted ads.
How can I turn it off?
PostHog only runs with JavaScript. If you turn off JavaScript in your browser, nothing is counted, and you can still read the pages. Clearing your cookies and site data removes the saved ID, but a new one is made on your next visit.
The site counts the same way whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.

Do you record what I do on the page?

Can I stop the counts?
Yes. Turn off JavaScript in your browser to stop the counts. You can still read the pages.
