Enter your trunk’s width, depth, and opening height in inches or centimeters. We compare them with the folded size and add 1 inch to each measurement. Treat the result as a size check, then try the stroller in your car.

Trunk opening
Measure side to side, front to back, and from the floor to the top of the opening. The check adds 1 inch to each folded measurement and tries each way you could turn the stroller.

Enter all three measurements to see which folded strollers fit.

How to measure your trunk

Grab a tape measure and open the trunk. You need three numbers.

  1. Width: measure side to side at the narrowest spot. That's often between the wheel wells.
  2. Depth: measure from the back of the rear seats to the edge of the trunk floor.
  3. Height: measure from the trunk floor to the top of the opening. A stroller has to pass through the opening, so use that number.

Measure with the trunk set up the way you drive. If the cargo cover stays in, measure under it.

What the result means

The checker compares your numbers with the folded size from the brand for 21 strollers. It adds 1 inch to each folded measurement and tries each way you could turn the stroller. A match means the folded shape fits your space.

Handles, wheels and the angle of the trunk lid can still get in the way. Try the stroller in your car while you can still return it. Our guide to stroller fold types shows how each kind of fold changes the folded shape.
